Echo Sonnet No. 4
May 4, 2020
As I rode into night filled with morose
Felt some relief, at least it was done
Let my feelings slumber, go comatose
I lived in winter, you were in the sun.
My world became liquor, ladies and fun
Diverted myself in soft eyes, curved hips
As I held them, thoughts of you would run
Still when I knew them, I tasted your lips.
You were far even by plane or by ships
When you called from past the rainbow
Once again reason did love full eclipse.
You begged me to visit, I couldn’t say no.
Recalling how it felt having you close
Knew I would suffer passions throes.
