Cherished the moments in the sun
I followed you into the ocean’s white
And we raced where Indiana did run
Mischief in mud lights eyes in delight
Yet even then our love was problematic
On the very first day as I prepared to fly
Upon the field I spied a rival romantic
Reticence at first, you tried to deny
Should I have yelled, been possessive
Left in a rage, like Joker and ‘Quinn?
Aggressive displays more expressive
Very hypocritical I would I have been
Ever since I question my choice that day
Maybe understanding was a bad play
