Good and bad, each a precious memory
How or why does love start to decay?
We fought more, less complimentary
Saw what you’re doing, tucked it away
Once more did we travel into the sun
Asked you can we please stay together
Our two families going forward as one
Instead you went one way, I another.
Upon our return you made your demand
Said that I had to, to which I say I refuse
So we were over our love had wanned
Saw you every day as our feeling diffuse.
A slow end prevents a reconcile as such
Love and words fade after the last touch.
Two families combined to go have fun
